Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin isn’t quite ready to let the Stanley Cup out of his sight. Over the last 48-hours, since winning the championship with the Capitals Thursday, Ovechkin has celebrated in the MGM hotel lobby, partied in a Vegas nightclub, on the Caps flight back to DC, a Clarendon bar, Nationals Park, and Georgetown Waterfront.
Saturday evening was, by comparison, a much quieter affair. Ovi finally took the cup home, along with his Conn Smythe trophy, and spent the evening with his family, friends, and the other Caps Russians.

Nastya also shared several videos on her Instagram stories. In it, Ovi holds the cup triumphantly over his head, shares a kiss with his mother, Tatyana, sings, dances, and holds the cup gently.

Ovi’s videos also have more singing, and dancing, even by Tatyana Ovechkina, with a speaker blasting Russian music balance on top of the Conn Smythe.

Eventually, finally, 48-hours since winning Game Five, Ovi made it to bed with his wife, Nastya Ovechkina, and the Stanley Cup.
