July 2 might be an ordinary day to a lot of us, but for Tim Ohashi, today will be a day he never forgets.
Monday, the Capitals’ video analyst had his day with the Stanley Cup. His first stop was raising the cup over his head at the Lincoln Memorial.
The Keeper of the Cup, Philip Pritchard, shared a photo on Twitter.

Ohashi became a Stanley Cup champion in his second season as an analyst for the Capitals. He previously worked as a coaching staff intern.
The Bethesda native grew up a hardcore Capitals fan, even creating a book of Capitals data at age 7. He received his master’s degree from Georgetown University in Sports Industry Management.
Raise the Cup high, Tim! You deserve it.
